Olive Haigh is a British singer-songwriter and auto-harpist. Her hauntingly powerful music is beguiling, arresting and completely unique. Having co-founded (with cellist Charlotte Jaffer and singer Chaz Easingwood) the ghost-folk band Girls Cry Wolf, Olive embarked on a solo career. She began to write dark folk songs inspired by the gothic portraits she was creating as part of her degree and, in 2014, released the experimental EP Monsters with producer Arthur Cunnington. She went on to release a series of acclaimed singles such as Pebble People and Secret Cupboard Waltz. Over recent years, Olive has supported Michael Chapman and Neil Halstead, and has toured the South West - playing everywhere from The Arts House Cafe and The Old Bookshop in Bristol to Boardmasters, The Poly (Falmouth) and Port Eliot. Her brilliant new single Emma was released last month.
Bryony Sier is an acclaimed singer-songwriter from Wales. Still only in her early 20s, the soulful power and maturity of Bryony’s voice has already caught the attention of some of the biggest names in the music industry. Over recent years she has played as a support act for Naomi Scott, Into the Ark, Joshua Radin, Molly Tuttle and Rachel Baiman. She has also worked with producers and songwriters like Charlie Francis (High Llamas, R.E.M.), Amy Wadge (Lewis Watson, Ed Sheeran) and Rick Wakeman. Bryony has played regularly on regional and national radio (e.g. for Bethan Elfyn, BBC Radio 1) and she has performed everywhere from Swn Festival and HUB Festival to Between the Trees, Hay on Wye and Tadstock Festival (Oxford). Her unique sound/vibe draws upon a wide variety of influences but is shaped especially by her love of American folk, blues, soul, gospel and country music.
Renowned for their piercing lyrics, timeless melodies and hypnotic harmonies, there’s a magic in the air when British pop and folk-rock band Boundless Brothers play live. Ever since being showcased by the likes of The Guardian and BBC Introducing, Sam Wilson (lead vocals and guitar), Seb Wilson (bass guitar) and Bo Payne (drums) have taken the music industry by storm – playing at live music venues across the UK and performing everywhere from Oceanfest, Looe Music Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival to Shrewsbury Festival, Clarence Park Festival and Port Eliot. Having played over eighty gigs in 2018, after the release of their new singles Only Love and Cause & Effect last month, and with their new EP scheduled for release this summer, Boundless Brothers are on a roll - and loving every minute of it!
James Edmunds is one of the most gifted session drummers of his generation. Having been tutored by drumming legend Trevor Tomkins at London’s prestigious Guildhall Junior, he studied Jazz at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he was taught by musical giants such as James Maddren, Huw Warren and Nick Weldon. James is passionate about a wide variety of music, and loves the flexibility and versatility that working as a session drummer offers him. Over recent years he has worked with everyone from soul singer Emily Holligan, hip hop artist Weyland McKenzie and house diva Kavita Singh to jazz singer Tara Lily, pop band Iridesce and Beyonce’s protégé Sophie Beem. "James is the most reliable musician I've ever worked with. He continually goes above and beyond at every gig." (Weyland McKenzie)
